Remarks & Notes
The setting sun cast a red glow as a pair of Amtrak/CDOT SPVs out of Springfield, MA, eased up to their mainline connection at New Haven station, where passengers will transfer for New York and points south. The SPVs would soon be removed from Amtrak service due to chronic mechanical issues.
