A pair of Rock Island RS3s thunk across the diamond at Pullman Junction on the South Side of Chicago with a transfer run back in 1969. This was a great place for train-watching for this East Coast visitor, with transfer runs, road freights, or passenger trains from nine different railroads showing up in the course of the afternoon.
