The Marquette local has a couple fresher SD40's for power as they build their outbound Clayton Turn. The crew is picking up sand cars off the siding as they take headroom past the bar here at McGregor. They will build a decent 70 car drag to head to Pattison Sand Company in Clayton. The crew's new normal duties now is to make a La Crescent Turn during daylight, but as the railroad goes things are way off and out of sink.
CP 5102 is ex-CP 6040, rebuilt as a SD40-3 by EMD at Marshalltown, IA, and fitted with RCL operations.
