| Leaving Snowy Jim Thorpe. A band of overnight snow showers have pretty much abated as Reading & Northern's #425 takes a passenger train north out of Jim Thorpe Station. The restored CNJ Station seen in this image is a variation of a classic "witch's hat" design, and contributes nicely to the Victorian feel of the beautiful little town of Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania, which is nestled deep in the Lehigh River Gorge. |
