The American Orient Express passenger train climbs into the Rockies at Coal Creek Canyon west of Clay, Colorado, on Union Pacific’s former Rio Grande route to the Moffat Tunnel. On the rear is a former New York Central 20th Century Limited observation car now named “New York.”
