| The return leg of the Fort Smith turn is almost back to the mainline at Poteau. The lead diesel will soon be 50 years old, having started life in October 1968 on the Penn Central. KCS once had a line from their main at Spiro to Fort Smith, but abandoned it years ago and began using this former SL-SF line. |
