Remarks & Notes
After their duties concluded hauling around the Olympic torch train. UP 2002 and 2001 began working in everyday revenue service. Here UP 2002 leads a train on the Rio Grande runner at the north end of Union Pacific's Salt Lake Cities north yard. The train is reflecting in a geothermic pond most local railfans refer to as the duct ponds. The smell of sulfur from these ponds can be a little overwhelming. The Third unit in the consist is 7511, a 6000 horsepower AC6000CW.
