Remarks & Notes
Ski train run around
Amtrak GE P42DCs Nos. 156 and 193 run around the Winter Park Express ski train at Fraser, Colorado, on January 20, 2018. Since the wye at Tabernash is out of service, where the ski train was once turned in its entirety, the locomotives now perform this runaround using Fraser siding to get the eastbound train back to Denver. Three of the eight Superliner coach and coach/baggage cars are specially-wrapped advertising the Winter Park Express and this year’s sponsor, Lyft.
