Remarks & Notes
Prototype Viewliner Sleeper #2300 was built in 1988 as one of three prototype Viewlienrs. These were the last Budd Car Co passenger car shells to emerge from the famed car builder, and were trucked to Beech Grove to be outfitted with customized Superliner sleeping accommodations. 18 years later the production cars would enter revenue service and this prototype became a test bed for other future projects.
