BNSF’s Cody local switches at Frannie, Wyoming, after bringing in three loads from Cody on June 24, 2016. The local is powered by two former Burlington Northern EMD SD70MACs, Nos. 9621 and 9709, demoted from their regular duty of hauling coal trains these machines were built for. Frannie is the branch’s connection to the BNSF’s Casper Subdivision main line, and sitting on the main is the train’s BN caboose No. 12540.
