The railfan network worked perfectly for me, as I was informed about this train in plenty of time to pick a spot and get set up. Unfortunately the weather gods didn’t treat me as well; eastern Utah was very cloudy with flat, dull lighting. So, at 11:23AM, here comes the Engineering Special moving right along in the desert below the Book Cliffs between the sidings of Solitude and Floy.
