| Not Sacramento built. On a beautiful September day Union Pacific FEF-3 #844 basks in the morning sun in front of the old Southern Pacific General Shops. Countless steam locomotives passed through the Sacramento Shops in its heyday and even though 844 was not one of them the 1944 vintage ALCo looks right at home in front of UP's long time 'Overland Route' partner's home base. |
