Remarks & Notes

The last day..... CNW 5028A leads what appears to be the Peninsula 400 out of CNW's Lakefront Depot on May 15th, 1966. CNW operations would move to the nearby Milwaukee Road depot the next day. It's fitting the weather would be miserable as this beautiful and historic depot should never have been destroyed. Bob Ferge photo from my collection.
