| The Battle Rages On - Thomas Fire, Day 6. As the Fillmore & Western Railway's first westbound train since the start of the now 155,000-acre Thomas Fire trundles along as part of the 10AM Christmas Tree Train, four helicopters can be seen above near the chard hillside as they continue to battle hotspots and towering flames out of view. While the fire appears to no longer be a threat to the City of Fillmore...strong winds in the forecast could turn that hope sour each day the fire still burns. |
