| Amtrak 156, the newly extended Northeast Regional that now runs over Blue Ridge grade to Roanoke, flies east through Bedford, VA on a crisp fall morning just after Thanksgiving. This is a classic shot on the N&W. Local railfans are very familiar with the arched bridge in the background that saw all of the infamous N&W locomotives as well as the numerous excursions that went through here. |
