| A view from the 14.55 Barca d'Alva (Portugal) to Fuente de San Esteban Correo as it crosses the Arroyo del Lugar viaduct haule by RENFE 0-6-0 No 030-2564. In the 17 kms from Barca d'Alva to Fregeneda the are 20 tunnels and 13 viaducts. Closed on 1st January 1985 it has since become a national heritage monument. In the past couple of years some repairs have been made to the infrastructure but it will cost a fortune to reopen.
