| Portuguese stainless steel Sorefame DMU No 403 after arrival at Barca d'Alva at the far end of the Douro Valley line forming the 08.30 from Porto. Here there was a connection into Spain to Fregeneda but sadly this spectacular line was closed in 1984 and the Douro line from Pocinho to Barca d'Alva followed on January 1, 1990. |
