Remarks & Notes
Just minutes earlier after waiting for CSX intermodal train L186, the crew of BNSF engine #7633 gets a medium clear from the siding to the main at the southend of Broughton. Now gaining speed, the Waycross, GA bound train Q513-02 enters Roanoke passing by some CSX power for a work train... This image exhibits two Class 1 Railroads, locomotive builders GE & EMD, two different paint schemes and nearly three decades between the engines construction: BNSF #7633 built (2008) CSX #6917 built (1980). No matter the railroad, brand, or paint "moving freight is the name of the game" and locomotives do it well.
