After riding train #7, the now unnamed ex Cornhusker/Corn Belt Rocket from the Quad Cities, the photographer walks west of the depot to catch the activity near 16th Ave. in the terminal trackage, where CB&Q and NW came up from NW Missouri came into Council Bluffs and crossed the Rock Island. CGW, CNW, and MILW were here too..making this a granger fan's mecca.
