Remarks & Notes
A GP9 duo leads Boston & Maine train CPSP (Newport, VT, to Springfield, MA, via CP/B&M) south through Greenfield, MA, past an old lineside phone box from the pre-radio era. The 1800-series number of lead unit 1821, formerly 1721, indicates that it went through the early 1980s GP9 upgrade program at the B&M"s Billerica Shop.
