With storm clouds looming overhead, a peek of sunlight illuminates WAMX 3946, a former Union Pacific GP39-2 that, despite being weather-beaten and worn, still proudly wears UP Armour Yellow. Now working for Watco and currently operated by Mission Mountain Railroad, the Geep was originally built for Delaware & Hudson as DH 7613 in 3/1976. This unit was resting by the yard office just south of US-2 in Columbia Falls.
