Remarks & Notes
Westbound New York to LA Q-Train rolls thru the east end of Chillicothe. The bridge in the background is the bridge over the Illinois River. In a couple miles the train will fight Edelstein Hill to get out of this river valley. The signal gang for the BNSF hasn't gotten this far yet, but all the replacement stuff has been on the ground for awhile now. It's only a matter of time before all these classic Santa Fe signal meet their end.

Tier IV locomotives are the safest, cleanest, and most fuel efficient locomotives on the rails today. Unfortunately, most of them are ugly and are as quiet as an ACS-64.
