An empty bare table train makes good time as they are only a few miles from Yuma. Here the 10 unit consist passes over the siding switch at Fortuna. Fortuna is the 1st siding eastbound outside of Yuma. Old signals are still in use between Fortuna and Yuma, but the other end is of this siding is new signal due to double track projects improving capacity over this route. Was hoping for a better shot for this big consist, but this guy made time with an empty train and we didn't make far east of Yuma. This is the UP Gila Sub between Yuma, AZ, and Tuscon, AZ, ex-SP Sunset Route thru southern Arizona.
