Small power for a big road. Santa Fe GE 44-ton switcher 467 didn’t have drawbars but rather steel plates for shoving 2-axle buggies of green cross ties into pressurized creosote cylinders at the company’s tie and timber treating plant at Somerville, Texas. Nov. 4, 1970.
