The only routine southbound train to run on the former MoPac from Paola, KS to Wagoner, OK passes by the unincorporated community of Rose on its way to the American Electric Power "Northeastern Station" power plant at Oologah, OK. With the former Katy mainline paralleling the MoPac main through eastern Kansas and nrotheastern Oklahoma, UP uses directional running with northbound traffic running on the MoPac via Coffeyville and southbounds running on the Katy via Parsons.
