| Blasting through the rock cut at Glen Onoko Falls, the pride of the Reading & Northern steam fleet leads seven coaches and a converted gondola on a 70-minute excursion. Operating over the main line of the Reading & Northern, the Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railway has got to be one of the very few places where one can ride a main line steam excursion in an open car right behind the locomotive... At speeds far exceeding that of your typical tourist train. There's a reason a pair of goggles is included with your gondola ticket... Trust me. |
