| On a hot summer morning CSX W812-20 with a UP and NS motor lash up comes around the curve at Tyner Holdout (MP WA-128.9) heading south on the CSX Western & Atlantic Sub. What's not normal for a DODX move is seeing a string of double stack containers up on the head. The string of double stack was picked up a day or so ago by this train in Dechard, TN on the CSX Chattanooga Sub some 140+ rail miles away, and the cars is on it's way to its destination at Husley Yard in downtown Atlanta. The rest of the consist not seen in the photo is made up of rebuilt U.S. Military equipment heading for a base in south Georgia. |
