| Winter rains have nicely greened up the grassy hills around Bealville on California’s Tehachapi Pass on February 24, 2016, as an Union Pacific manifest freight climbs through the Allard horseshoe curve. UP GE ES44AC No. 2552 leads two newer GE ET44ACs as motive power, with a Genset tucked in behind the power on the heavy eastbound (southbound) freight. |
