Remarks & Notes
When the Connecticut Department of Transportation purchased 12 Budd SPV-2000s for Amtrak Hartford line service in 1980, it also acquired a 13th car, CDOT 50, for use on Metro North's Waterbury and Danbury branches. Running as a Bridgeport-Waterbury Metro North shuttle, car 50 passed one of the Naugatuck Valley's many closed factories at Ansonia, CT.
