Remarks & Notes
Wellsville, Addison & Galeton dead line, July, 1970. General Electric 132-ton centercabs 1800 and 1500 sit among the weeds near the railroad's shop in Galeton, PA. The former Western Pacific EMD F7B at the end-of-track is probably a parts source for the former Southern Pacific F7A units that would eventually displace all the GEs. As the story goes, these centercabs were styled after Henry Ford's personal automobile. They were acquired from Ford in 1955 and 1956
