| On this day, the second "Giruno" highspeed train RABe 501 # 002 for the SBB left the Stadler Rail commissioning centre Erlen (IBS) for the very first time, to make some brake test runs on the Thur valley mainline of the SBB. This is the second return trip from Romanshorn to Sulgen. This trainset will be mainly used for running-gear tests and is equipped with several measuring axles. |
