Remarks & Notes

The Pennsylvania and Southern, a switching operation in and around the Letterkenny Army Depot near Chambersburg, PA debuted #17 an EMD SW7 built in 1950 for Weyerhauser in the Pacific Northwest. It was purchased from LTEX and in 2016 was painted by railroad employees in honor of the lives lost in 2011 on Extortion 1-7 in Afghanistan. This photo was taken on railroad property and posted with permission.
