| A set of four EMDs heel into the curve at Rollins with empties from Two Harbors. The rebuilt SD45T-2 on the point is still racking up the miles after 44 years in service. No doubt the dedicated men and women of the Proctor shops have as much to do with that as the folks who rolled her off the assembly line in 1973. Hopefully the sounds of EMD locomotives hauling iron ore cars through the north woods of Minnesota will continue for a long time to come. |
