Remarks & Notes
Utah Railway's RUT611-18 sweeps under the 114th's South bridge on it's journey between Provo and Ogden, a journey of roughly 90 miles. The locomotives pictured are two of UTAH's unique SD50S ('S' suffix, for short frame) which are usually tasked with hauling these trains since the fleet of 6 MK50-3s were moved to Kansas.

The EMD SD (special duty) series are a strong and reliable kind of locomotive which still serve America's rails today. They have proved themselves reliable by clocking in several million miles of freight service over several decades.
