| Now here's something you don't see everyday in Lynchburg, VA. Three Amtrak trains side by side by side.
Left to right... "NS 957" Lynchburg-Roanoke crew-qualifying train on a Kemper St. stub track. Regional train #176 (NS 014) on its overnight storage track boarding passengers. Slightly tardy Crescent, Amtrak #20, on Main track 1. Thrown in for good measure... Roanoke Valley Metro "Smartway" bus is in front of Kemper St. Station unloading connecting passengers from Roanoke and Bedford for #176. |
