Union Pacific welders work on a track capacity addition at Allen Creek between Missouri Valley and California Junction, Iowa, on August 15, 2012. They are in the middle of doing two field welds on trackage being changed to include new crossovers, being built west of the bridges carrying the Blair Subdivision main line over Allen Creek. This is former Chicago and North Western trackage.
