Norfolk Southern's Virginian heritage was the power on point to lead an Air Products heat exchanger through CP TRENT en route to Morrisville, PA where it will be shipped over seas with Saudi Arabia as the final destination. A heat exchanger is used to convert natural gas to liquefied gas. Air Products is based in Wilkes-Barre, PA. While rumors have suggested the company is considering relocating its manufacturing, possibly to Louisiana, latest reports by the company suggest they will stay in the Lehigh Valley. A second plant with the capacity to build much, much larger heat exchangers opened in 2014 located a short distance to port in Port Manatee, Florida.
