Fullerton Shoo-Fly

BNSF train S-LGBNYC5-01 threads its way through the shoo-fly west of the Fullerton, California, passenger station on April 1, 2000. The shoo-fly is due to construction of an overpass across Highland Avenue - the last grade crossing between Valley View in La Mirada and Raymond, east of the Fullerton train station, a distance of about eight miles. The train, heading from Long Beach CA to New York City NY, is powered by an as-yet unpatched solid set of Santa Fe power: A pair of Dash 9-44CWs, a GP60B and an SD40-2.
