| Working off the Santa Maria Valley floor on a hazy afternoon, UP 3999, giving the appearance of an SD60M with no slanted radiators and a small company patch on the nose, leads the LOF66-16 south after meeting the northbound Coast Starlight at Guadalupe. An interesting note on the 3999 is that it did at one time have the wings decal on its nose...which to my understand is uncommon to have gone back to the standard small company logo. |
