| Serve The South
With the final touches has been made by adding the correct black number boards, and the Southern Herald on both ends of the nose, the very first class engine Southern 5000L is complete, and ready for its debut for the Southern Railway Historical Association event that is going to happen at the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum this weekend. Also on hand is Southern Railway very first SD40 3170w is park next to the recently restored 5000L making a very beautiful portrait of what the Southern Railway had as power of choice back in the days before Norfolk Southern merger of the 1980s. |
