| The crew of Norfolk Southern H95 has completed their interchange work with York Railway as they head back to Windsor St. Yard light. The York Railway crew will soon be at work sorting the cars received from NS. It appears that YRC's CF7s have been sidelined in favor of leased power from Larry's Truck & Electric. LTEX 1414 is ex-CR 1634 and the trailing GP15-1, LTEX 1444, is ex-CR 1682. NS H95's three-unit consist includes NS road slug RP-M4C 626. While YRC's CF7s might face an uncertain future, the former PRR York Tower is currently slated for preservation as part of a renewal of the surrounding area by an investment company that includes members of the band Live who are York natives. |
