Remarks & Notes
Changing times at Butler
Light snow is falling the day after Christmas in 1995, eight months after Union Pacific’s merger of Chicago & North Western at Butler Yard outside Milwaukee, Wisconsin. UP has already planted its flag (literally) with a coal train powered with UP C40-8Ws on the main line, but the old guard still musters a pair of EMD SD18Rs to switch the yard.
