Remarks & Notes
Seven assorted Boston & Maine and Conrail diesels led by B&M GP38-2 206 head up a loaded unit coal train at Gardner, MA, headed from western Pennsylvania to a generating station at Bow, NH. Pooled power was the rule on this train. In a few miles it will reach the summit of the B&M's Fitchburg Division at East Gardner.
