| The Return to Torrington
Today history was made. The Naugatuck RR ran its first excursion to Torrington, CT in seven years. it was certainly very nice to see a train run through my home town once again! For this special trip (chartered by the Mass Bay Railroad Enthusiasts), New Haven FL9 2019 had her ditchlights removed and her horn replaced by its original Hancock Air Whistle, essentially making her look just like she did in the 60s. This photo was taken on the return trip from Torrington. |
