Remarks & Notes
Spectacular Grab Shot: Sometimes you just can't pass up a shot! On my way into work, I turned the corner and had to stop. The Dayton's Bluff job, with a pair of Geeps, creeping down the Q1 yard lead, against a spectacular sunset. The web of rails at Hoffman is a sight to be seen. Taken while off duty, wearing full PPE.

A classification yard is a railway yard found at some freight train stations, used to separate railway cars on to one of several tracks. From there the cars are sent through a series of switches called a ladder onto the classification tracks.
