How do you manage to turn a locomotive with 20,32 meter (66,6 feet) axle base including tender, on a turntable with 20 meter (65,6 feet) diameter only? Yes, you remove the tender first and then turn the two vehicles separately! This was done in Brig depot, when the 4-6-2 "Pacific" express train locomotive came into the Valais.
