Remarks & Notes
A married pair of SEPTA GE Silveriner IV's led by No. 168 arrives from Yardley, PA at 5:30 PM. The commuter set is westbound passing the former location of the Reading Woodbourne station with the newer park and ride station just ahead. No. 168 was delivered to SEPTA in 1976 but never wore a Reading logo as Conrail had since assumed control. Prior to 1976, the Reading and Penn Central were the operators for the SEPTA owned cars. SEPTA finally took over commuter rail operations in 1983. In total, 232 GE Silverliners were built and delivered between 1973 and 1976.
