The cab of the 4-6-2 Boston & Maine steam locomotive captured outside the shops in Steamtown catching some rays in November of 2016. Work to restore this 1934 Lima locomotive began long ago, in 1995, 17 years ago. It was expected to be operational by 2005 or 2006, perhaps 2008, or 2010... The good news today is that quite a bit of work has been accomplished and the expected restoration is, no doubt, much closer than ever before.
