Remarks & Notes
The “acid train”, CP/D&H train 700, starts its journey from Philadelphia to Baltimore at the entrance to CSX’ East Side Yard. Fortunately the drab GATX SD40-2, which was destined to become a CP B-unit, was not in the lead on this train, which is exiting the short tunnels under Grays Ferry Avenue.
