| Likely my favorite location along the Columbia Subdivision... Ulmer. It is one of only a few spots where the silver paint from the days of the SCL still holds tight to the type-W signal heads that still protect the line. On January 9th, 2017, quite some time after the Seaboard days, CSX W999 rolls through the almost unchanged control point as it takes a hefty load toward Charleston. |
